Being able to pay bills seamlessly and directly through Quicken, using either your bank or BillPay, is what it's all about for me. It was a joyous but melancholy experience. The return to the fully integrated and functional Quicken 2015 Starter Edition was everything good I remember about the last Windows version I used. Not to mention the Mac version is more than twice the price of the basic Windows version and offers not much more functionality than the antediluvian Quicken Essentials for Mac. The latest attempt by Quicken to appease the Mac crowd, Quicken 2015 for Mac, quickly fell on it's sword in press reviews. I went back to the Windows version of Quicken after Intuit sent me a message indicating I had *four* days of supported online service for my current Quicken Essentials for Mac.
